How to play the guitar is something almost everyone wishes to know. But learning to play the guitar sometimes seem so… difficult. But let us get one thing out of the way. It is easy to learn to play the guitar. Not only is it easy, you can actually start playing the guitar within minutes of picking one up.
The very first free tip I want to share with you when you want to learn to play the guitar is this: get a guitar. Sounds silly, doesn’t it? Think about it. You can pretty much pick up any musical instrument on your own with minimal coaching. But you must love it so much that you spend hours playing with it.
Once you know the basics, there is no substitute to actually having a guitar and strumming or plucking on its strings all day long! I remember when I first learned the guitar, I was practically glued to it for weeks. My entire school vacation was spent – on the bed, with my guitar; on the couch, playing my guitar; in the garden, playing my guitar; going to the beach, with my guitar… get the picture?
So, let me encourage you. To learn to play the guitar, stop asking how to play guitar and just go get one. Now.
